My Inspiration
Not wanting to throw the beautiful ropes away, I decided to upcycle them into gifts for friends and family. Mementos of a life well lived. Suddenly I found a creative outlet I enjoyed and was inspired to take the plunge into the world of 'self employment'. I have been in business now for over three years and love what I do. I may have lost my father but I have gained a new lease of life through pursuing my dream.
I have been producing these beautiful pieces for over 9 years now and love every minutes and every piece is unique with the weaving, each piece is made with love and I hope this comes across when you receive your piece/gift My Dad was a avid climber and as such a lot of ropes which sadly after his passing where just sat there and I thought lets see what I can do with Dad’s ropes and hey presto here we are 9.5 years later.
This is quite unique in the UK there are only a handful of people making these by hand, and as such the quality is of a high standard. Everything is made with Paracord weaving and finished with cobra knotting where as the weave on macrame is only square knots so not as strong
